Referral Program Terms

Effective date: June 16, 2026

The short version

Share your Reinvoice referral link. For every friend who signs up and becomes a paying subscriber, you get one free month of Reinvoice as account credit. You can stack up to 12 free months. There are no cash payouts, no gift cards, no banking setup, and no tax forms — the program is a discount on your subscription, not income.

Definitions

  • "Referrer" means a Reinvoice subscriber who shares a Referral Link.
  • "Referral Link" means a unique tracking link issued by Reinvoice to a Referrer.
  • "Qualifying Referral" means a person who (a) signs up for Reinvoice through a Referral Link, (b) has not previously held a Reinvoice account, (c) becomes a paying subscriber, and (d) remains a paying subscriber for at least 30 days without refund, chargeback, or cancellation.
  • "Credit"means one free month of Reinvoice service applied as a discount to the Referrer's active subscription.

1. Eligibility

Any active Reinvoice subscriber may participate. Participation is automatic — no application required. Reinvoice may, in its sole discretion, suspend or revoke participation at any time, particularly in the event of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.

2. The Reward

  • One free month of Reinvoiceper Qualifying Referral, applied as account credit on the Referrer's next invoice.
  • Maximum lifetime credit per Referrer: 12 free months.
  • Credit is non-transferable and has no cash value. It cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, refunds, or any other compensation.
  • Credit applies only to the Referrer's own Reinvoice subscription.

3. When Credit Is Applied

Credit is added to your subscription 30 daysafter the referred user's first paid invoice clears. The 30-day window covers refunds and chargebacks. If the referred user refunds, cancels, or charges back during that window, the Qualifying Referral does not count and no credit is issued.

4. Sharing Rules

Referral Links may be shared via:

  • Your own websites, blogs, or social media accounts
  • One-to-one messages to people you know
  • Communities and email lists where recipients have explicitly opted in

All promotion must be truthful and reflect genuine experience. You must disclose your participation in the Program where required by applicable law, including FTC endorsement guidelines.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Refer yourself, a household member, or a duplicate account you control
  • Run paid ads (search, social, display, sponsorships) using "Reinvoice" or any branded term
  • Post Referral Links on coupon, deal, promo-code, or cashback sites
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, use bots, scrape contact lists, or spam recipients
  • Cloak, mask, shorten in a way that obscures destination, or otherwise tamper with the Referral Link
  • Make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about Reinvoice

Violations will result in forfeiture of unearned credit and may result in suspension from the Program.

6. Clawback

If a referred user's payment is refunded or charged back after credit has been applied, Reinvoice may, in its sole discretion, reverse the corresponding credit. Reinvoice may also withhold, reduce, or reverse credit in cases of fraud, abuse, ineligible referrals, or technical errors. Reinvoice's determinations are final.

7. Cancellation and Forfeiture

If you cancel your Reinvoice subscription, any unused credit is forfeited. If you later resubscribe, prior referrals and credit do not carry over.

8. No Cash, Gift Cards, or Tax Forms

The Program offers account credit only. Reinvoice does not issue cash, gift cards, ACH transfers, checks, or any other form of payout under the Program. Because the reward is a discount on your own subscription rather than a payment for services, no 1099, W-9, or other tax form is required. You are responsible for any tax obligations that may apply to the value of the credit you receive.

9. Modification or Termination of the Program

Reinvoice may modify these terms or discontinue the Program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Continued participation after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Reinvoice is under no obligation to maintain the Program indefinitely.

10. No Partnership

Participation in the Program does not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and Reinvoice. You are not authorized to bind Reinvoice or make representations on its behalf.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reinvoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Program.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

13. Entire Agreement & Severability

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Reinvoice regarding the Program and supersede prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
